Application and Registration:

Theatre of Art Song • June 2-24

Applications will be accepted until programs maximums are filled, with a closing date of February 29, 2012. We strongly advise early application. Please complete the form below and submit for processing along with the required support materials noted on the Theatre of Art Song Program Page.

NOTE: You must register first. Once your application has been submitted, you will need to return to this page to pay your Application fee payment via paypal. Application registration and payment transactions are handled separately.

Tuition: Pay your Tuition fee here:

The Registrar will review your Application and supporting material and will contact you about acceptance and payment of tuition. Please do not pay the tuition until invited to do so by the Registrar.

Online Payment via Paypal:
Tuition for Advanced Performance students, $1300 (CAD)



Tuition for Young University Artists, $1200 (CAD)



A 25% non-refundable deposit will be required upon acceptance in the program. ($325 for the Advanced Performance Studies and $300 for the Young University Artists)

Accommodations are available on UBC campus (not included in fees). In the event of a cancellation, a refund on tuition fees will be granted for withdrawals up to 2 weeks prior to the Institute. (The 25% deposit and the application fee will not be refunded). Should the need to cancel arise less than 2 weeks prior to the event, a 50% refund will be granted (the 25% deposit will not be refunded and a 25% penalty fee will be charged). Financial Assistance

Since demand is high, we ask that students requesting scholarships and other payment adjustments should click here to contact us with a statement indicating their financial circumstances. There are a limited number of work-study partial grants as well. For students with alternate payment options please go to the INCREMENTAL PAYMENT page.
