VISICHOR Workshops with Kevin Zakresky,
Conductor of the Prince George Symphony and Pacifica Singers
The Benjamin Britten Centenary (1913-2013)

Join Britten scholar and conductor Kevin Zakresky for a week-long exploration of the choral works of Benjamin Britten. Classes will include a mix of scholarship and rehearsal - furthering your understanding of Britten's musical and textual world while giving you a chance to sing the music of this great British composer. Participants should have functional music-reading and some vocal and/or choral experience.

Saturday, June 22 at the Canadian Memorial United Church (Burrard and 16th, Vancouver)

Scores can be purchased at Northwest Music (Main Street, Vancouver)

In the event of a cancellation, a full refund will be granted for cancellations up to 2 weeks prior to the Institute. Should the need to cancel arise less than 2 weeks prior to the event, a 50% refund will be granted.
